Laresa Kosloff
Artist Statement for 'the Sneeze'
'Snap Happy' is a Super 8 film I made while travelling in Greece, and it seems appropriate that the footage has finally found its way back home. It was filmed at the Epidauros Amphitheatre, and shows tourists documenting the ancient site with limited time and in sweltering heat. I am interested in how photographic mediums help us describe our experience of subjectivity and memory.
